SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. ( WATE ) — Carrie Matthews, the alleged girlfriend of Kenneth DeHart , has been indicted on two felony charges, according to court documents. The charges are based on Matthews being accused of warning DeHart that police were at her home after DeHart allegedly shot two Blount County Deputies.

The indictment, signed and dated on April 29, states that Matthews was indicted on two charges of accessory after the fact, which is a Class E Felony.

On February 8, court documents state that investigators visited Matthews’ Sevierville home just before 10 p.m. as they searched for Kenneth DeHart. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office alleges that DeHart fatally shot Deputy Greg McCowan, and shot and injured Deputy Shelby Eggers during a traffic stop earlier that night.

An arrest warrant for Matthews states that while officers were at her home, Matthews received a phone call from a “Janeisha,” however, the call was actually from DeHart. Officers state that Matthews allegedly then told DeHart “They’re here.”

In the indictment, the counts against Matthews differ only slightly, with count one stating that Matthews is accused of providing or aiding in providing DeHart with “any means of avoiding arrest,” while count two states that Matthews allegedly “did warn Kenneth DeHart of impending apprehension or discovery.”

Just four days after the shooting, Matthews was released on a $350,000 bond.

Last month, Matthews’ case moved to the Grand Jury . She is one of three individuals charged with aiding DeHart. DeHart’s bother, Marcus DeHart , was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, however, he was released on a $10,000 bond after Kenneth DeHart was captured. Another man, Maurice Warren, was charged with accessory after the fact after allegedly purchasing two phones and sim cards for Kenneth DeHart.

Kenneth DeHart has been indicted and is facing 21 charges , including first-degree murder.
