Waldo County Technical Center honors graduates of 2024
Waldo County Technical Center (WCTC) honored the success of all students and awarded scholarships and Toolships to graduating seniors at its annual Recognition and Awards Night on May 29. The event was held at the Crosby Center in Belfast. Many WCTC programs presented Outstanding Student and Most Improved Student Awards.
Students help pick up kelp equipment in Belfast
On a foggy, misty day, Belfast students from BAHS and THMS involved with the Marine Institute program recently helped retrieve their kelp farm equipment from their LPA (Limited Purpose Aquaculture) site off City Park.
