Two killed in crash on Interstate 65
SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (IUSTV News) — Two commercial vehicle drivers were killed in a crash on Interstate 65 in Scott County, according to Indiana State Police. In a release, ISP said that troopers responded to the southbound lanes just south of Austin, Indiana, around 11:50 p.m. Monday. Once on scene, first responders found three semi-trucks blocking both lanes of traffic, with two of those semi-trucks on fire.
UPDATE: Two Commercial Vehicle Drivers Killed in Overnight Crash on I-65
UPDATE: Authorities have identified the two commercial drivers killed in Monday’s tragic crash on I-65 in Scott County. The driver of the second semi listed below has been identified as 55-year-old Julianne Reid of Indianapolis, Indiana. Julianne Reid was driving a 2019 Kenworth tractor with trailer and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe Reid’s semi-truck was slowing to stop at the time of the crash.
I-65 lane restrictions will affect these three southern Indiana counties
CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — Heads up if you plan on driving either direction on I-65 in southern Indiana in the near future. Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will reduce northbound and southbound I-65 to one lane in Clark, Jackson and Scott counties starting Monday, April 29. The closures are necessary for bridge washing work.

2 semi drivers killed, 1 severely burned in fiery crash on I-65 near Scottsburg
AUSTIN, Ind. (WISH) — Two truck drivers died in a fiery crash involving three semis late Monday night, closing a part of I-65 in Scott County for several hours. Indiana State Police said in a release said the crash happened around 11:50 p.m. Monday near the 33-mile marker, just north of Scottsburg.
