According to police, Butler is accused of accepting money from three different clients to install fencing at their residences, but allegedly never completed the work. Butler was reportedly paid $5,016.32, $2,802.05 and $6,771.68 for the respective jobs between October of 2023 and March of 2024.

Police say one of the victims took Butler to small claims court over their incident, where he was ordered to pay the victim $3,061, but Butler allegedly paid for the offense using a check with insufficient funds. He surrendered himself to North Greenbush Police on several active warrants on April 24.

Butler was charged with two counts of third-degree grand larceny and issuing a bad check. He was arrested in Queensbury and Glenville earlier this year in connection to similar charges.

Butler was arraigned at the North Greenbush Town Court before being released. He is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
