    SCAD can’t hold off second half surge from Reinhardt

    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah College of Art and Design women’s lacrosse team fell in the NAIA National Semifinals, 18-8, to Reinhardt on May 2 at Memorial Stadium.

    SCAD had a strong second period. They outscored the tournament’s top overall seed 5-2 in the second 15 minutes. However, over the next two periods, Reinhardt finished the game on 10-1 run.

    SCAD, the No. 4 seed in the tournament, finishes the season 14-6. After the game, head coach Meldoy Shotwell declined comment on the game.
