Storms cause boil water notice in Bruceville-Eddy
BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (FOX 44) – The City of Bruceville-Eddy Water Department is raising awareness of a boil water notice. This notice affects water customers in the Falls County, Bruceville and Eddy areas. It comes due to storms in the area and also conditions which have occurred recently on or around Theresa Lane, Foster Branch, Smith Lane, Westgate I and II and from Hodge Road to Winchester Drive. The Texas Commision on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required the system to notify all customers on the area above to boil their water prior to consumption.
Carry the Load Rally coming to Waco
WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – An organization which brings Americans together to honor our nation’s heroes will be coming to Waco. The public will walk with Carry The Load’s National Relay. The organization’s mission is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day, which has grown into a nationwide movement with five routes covering 20,000 miles across 48 states. The National Relay starts in the upper U.S. and commences in Dallas on Memorial Day weekend.

Severe Threat Slices South Yet Again
The severe threat continues again Friday night in the storm-weary South. On Wednesday, a confirmed tornado touchdown in Temple, Texas, along Interstate 35 between Dallas and Austin. NWS Fort Worth gave this tornado a preliminary rating of EF-2 as the survey continued. Thursday, tornado warnings that were confirmed west of Altus, OK, and east of Waco, TX did some damage with slow storm movement. We will be awaiting storm surveys from these storms.
