Educators, political leaders address child hunger, free school meals in NC at town hall
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (WLOS) — Many kids get free meals at school in North Carolina. But not all of them. A statewide coalition held a town hall Thursday, May 30, at Western Carolina University to advocate for free meals and to discuss strategies to achieve that goal. Those who attended believe in the expression, "Food for thought."
