Chance Of Light Rain In Santa Clarita This Weekend

A slight chance of rain is expected in the Santa Clarita Valley this Saturday.

Rain is expected for late Saturday afternoon into the evening hours, said Rich Thompson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

“We are looking for rain late tomorrow afternoon into the evening,” Thompson said.

There is a 40 to 50 percent chance of light rain , Thompson said.

The Santa Clarita is expected to receive about a tenth of an inch.

In the afternoon, 20 to 25 mph winds out of the south are expected, according to Thompson.

By next week, skies will clear up and temperatures will return to the mid 70s to low 80s.
