Infant Airlifted From Central Park In Saugus

An infant was airlifted from Central Park Friday after suffering from a medical emergency in Saugus.

Around 10 a.m. Friday, paramedics responded to a medical emergency on the 22000 block of Barcotta Drive in Saugus, said Kaitlyn Aldana, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The initial call type was for an injury, according to radio traffic.

The patient was transported by ambulance to Central Park to an awaiting helicopter.

According to officials on scene, an infant patient along with their parents boarded L.A. County Copter 12 and were transported to a specialty hospital.

The exact age and condition of the patient were not released to the media.
