Abe’s Pawn Shop In Newhall Closing Down

A longtime pawn shop located in Newhall is set to close down this spring.

After at least 40 years, Abe’s Pawn Shop in Old Town Newhall is closing down at the end of May.

“Thank you again to our Newhall/ SCV community; it was a pleasure to serve you throughout the years,” Abe’s Pawn Shop said in a Facebook post .

The redemption date is listed on the consumer’s contract, and is not offering extensions and new contracts on any current loans.

The pawn shop is located at 24336 Main Street in Old Town Newhall near the corner of 8th Street.

Current loan customers may pay their loans in full, including the principal and fees, and redeem their items until the final date on their loan contracts.

Abe’s on Main is a collection of over 20 independent vendors that bring an array of Antiques, collectibles, art, clothing, furniture and more.

Abe’s Pawn assists with Pawn Loans and shopping needs and can offer loans for the most common things of value.

The shop lends on common items, such as gold, silver, platinum and diamond jewellery, fine watches, musical instruments, tools, recently released electronics, and road bicycles.

Abe’s Pawn Shop can also lend on vehicles, including cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, boats, dirt bikes, quads, ATVs, travel trailers, and toy haulers.

Abe’s Pawn Shop is set to maintain its regular shop hours on Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday, May 31.
