Man Wounded in Santa Clarita Shooting Rushed to Trauma Center

SANTA CLARITA, Calif., Mar. 27 (KNN) — A man was shot in a Santa Clarita neighborhood early Wednesday morning and rushed to a trauma center.

The shooting was reported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station 911 call center at 1:20 a.m.

The informant stated a man in her car had been shot in the chest and was unresponsive.

Deputies and paramedics arrived to the scene at Jakes Way and Sierra Highway in the Canyon Country neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

The gunshot victim was rushed to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

The shooting was actively under investigation as of 3 a.m.
