Fire Quickly Knocked Down In Newhall Apartment Building

A fire at an apartment building in Newhall was quickly knocked down by firefighters Wednesday.

Around 1 p.m. Wednesday, first responders received reports of an apartment fire in the 23700 block of Via Canon in Newhall, said Geovanni Sanchez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“Smoke was showing from a two-story apartment building,” Sanchez said.

As of 1:10 p.m., the fire has been knocked down, according to officials.

No injuries have been reported.
