PHOTO ALBUM #3 of 5 - CHS Powderpuff Football Game May 23, 2023
The Powderpuff football game played on Tuesday was a lot of fun to watch. It was apparent there were practices held by their "coaches" because they were calling plays. Everyone took it very seriously, but the smiles and laughter shows they also wanted to enjoy it... and I believe they did! The fans had a great time, too. Besides the girls in jerseys and the coaches from each class, there were cheerleaders, a percussion band, and REAL officials from the Abilene chapter. A perfect evening of competition and fun. The Junior team won the Championship and even got to raise a "silver" trophy! Congratulations to the Juniors and to the entire booster club, band for concessions, and wonderful kids Coleman High School has that made the evening a great event!
