Man shot outside Springfield bar, deputies search for suspects
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office is searching for individuals involved in a late night shooting that sent a bar bouncer to the hospital. Around 1:30 a.m. on Monday morning, the sheriff's office arrived at the Cove, 1616 N. Dirksen Parkway, for a report of a man who had been shot. The victim, a Springfield man in his late 30s, had been shot in the torso during his shift.
