Kimball named Bonners Ferry DYW
BONNERS FERRY — Bonners Ferry High School Junior Riley Kimball was named the Distinguished Young Woman of Bonners Ferry on Saturday, April 26, at Beckle Auditorium at Bonners Ferry High School. Riley said she was shaking on stage when hand-in-hand with the other participants waiting for the final results.

BONNERS FERRY — Rain couldn’t stop on opening day. For the last 44 years, the Bonners Ferry Farmers Market opening day is an event the community looks forward to. Come rain or shine, the market always opens on the last Saturday of April and this drizzly Saturday was no exception.

Bonners Ferry scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Friday. Everything went their way against the Timberlake Tigers as the Bonners Ferry Badgers made off with a 12-1 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Bonners Ferry as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Chago Jimenez and Nolie Hiatt have been named Athlete of the Week for Bonners Ferry golf. On April 23, Chago, a senior, led the Badger boys at the Circling Raven Golf Course in Worley with 89 strokes, taking 10th. Chago has improved tremendously the past season. In 2023 he shaved off 23 strokes from the 3A IML Districts in 2022, notching 114.
