Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and will take place at the high school located at 850 N. San Luis Plaza Drive in San Luis, Arizona.
Larry Carillo, a sophomore, shared, "The event is going to be focusing on the students showcasing their skills that they have learned in the past few weeks and this piece that they have prepared for the several past weeks as well. They're going to be telling us stories about their past that has greatly contributed to them being the person they are today."
Mary Theresa, a junior, shared how the public speaking class has helped her. "Well, it has helped me personally, because I am a really shy person, but it has helped me to overcome my fear to public speaking."
The students said they learned how to improve their public speaking through the class and prepared for this upcoming conference since it is their final project.
This event will also have 10 speakers delivering speeches on various topics that include depression, memories, overcoming fears, anxiety, society, women's safety, and many more.
