Dublin Man Charged With Damaging Computers Belonging To His Former Employer
The US Attorney Ismael J. Ramsey and Special Agent in Charge Robert K. Tripp of the Federal Bureau of Investigation have announced that Vamsikrishna Naganathanahalli has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Oakland for a felony offense. The charge is related to the alleged improper access and damage of a protected computer. As per the indictment filed on May 11, 2023, and unsealed today, Naganathanahalli, aged 47 and a resident of Dublin, Calif., accessed a computer system belonging to his former employer, Vituity, after his login credentials had been revoked. The indictment alleges that he replaced real data with masked data, causing damage to a crucial Vituity database.

San Francisco Carjacking Victim Identified in Fatal Truck Crash
