So much of the Warriors' offseason outlook depends on who they are willing to trade to improve. The most important component is Jonathan Kuminga, who is extension eligible this offseason.

But would the Warriors be willing to trade Kuminga, or package him with Andrew Wiggins to get a deal done? ESPN's Ramona Shelburne joined Willard and Dibs Wednesday and was not high on the prospect. She was asked to what extent Kuminga would be on the table, and the answer was direct.

"Not at all," Shelburne said. "I think he's pretty much -- look, it's gonna get complicated because of his extension talks and how much money they have and but I think they'll do everything they can to keep him. I mean, I don't think they want to even talk about him."

But if the Warriors are set on getting a deal done, what do they have at their disposal? Shelburne pointed toward a variety of options.

"They have a pretty good set of assets," Shelburne said. "There's some other good young players on the team outside a Kuminga. They have draft picks, they have Wiggins, they have Gary Payton II. Thay have a lot of a lot of options there. They have a lot of optionality and decent contracts. And then there's also the blue chip, which is Chris Paul. That contract is very interesting for a lot of teams for a lot of reasons. Now the Warriors could certainly just keep him and take the savings themselves. But that's a great trade asset for a lot of teams."

The reason Paul's deal is attractive, Shelburne said, is not so much that teams want to pay Paul $30.8 million. It's that a team could trade for his deal and then cut him, saving $30.8 million.
