Should the Spurs keep an eye on LeBron James this offseason?

Victor Wembanyama looks good enough to help a team win a lot of games. But he can’t do it alone, The San Antonio Spurs should look to add some serious talent. Could Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James be a guy to watch? Tyler Watts of Air Alamo believes the Spurs should keep an eye on James should he become disgruntled in Los Angeles.

“James is still elite. He averaged 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 35.3 minutes per game as a 39-year-old,” Watts wrote. “He shot 41.0 percent from 3-point range this season, which was an impressive improvement from the GOAT.

There has always been a ton of mutual respect and admiration between Gregg Popovich and LeBron James. They are two of the greatest ever in their positions. Could they team up as both near the ends of their historic careers? Crazier things have happened. It would also be a fascinating way to see King James pass the torch to Victor Wembanyama.”

Pairing James with Wembanyama would be absolutely electric.
