WJHL Rewind: Cable Country – White’s Mill in Abingdon
ABINGDON, Va. (WJHL) – Former News Channel 11 anchor Tim Cable oversaw one of the region’s most popular series: Cable Country. In September 1992, Cable toured White’s Mill in Abingdon, a state and national landmark. At the time, the mill was the only grist mill still in operation in Southwest Virginia.
