Montgomery County Golf Course Selected as Qualifying Site for U.S. Open
The local qualifying event in Montgomery County for the U.S. Open will be held on May 6 at Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill. The United States Golf Association has chosen three Pennsylvania golf courses as local qualifying sites for the 124th U.S. Open Championships and one of them is in Montgomery County, writes Amber Charnoff for abc27 News.

LINKS Magazine recently ranked the best golf courses in Pennsylvania and three Montgomery County courses made the Top 10 list. , which is considered “the finest inland links in the country,” is on the list. The course was designed by Hugh Wilson and made famous by golfers Bobby Jones and Ben Hogan.
