Florida Man Arrested For Alleged Assault Over "Honey Bun" Pastry

St. Petersburg, FL - A St. Petersburg man was arrested last week following allegations that he assaulted his girlfriend during a fight over a pastry.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 47-year-old Andre Eason was arrested on domestic battery charges stemming from an incident outside a Walmart Supercenter.

Eason's arrest report states that he and his girlfriend were in their car around 4:13 a.m. Friday morning when an argument erupted over a "honey bun" pastry.

The argument reportedly escalated to the point where Eason struck his girlfriend in the face, causing redness.

According to online court records, Eason was arrested but released the same day.
