As the new look St. Peter boys tennis team continues to develop, they competed in a pair of duals at Gustavus Adolphus College. Facing Princeton, the Saints fell 4-3 with the final game being decided in an 8-6 third set, before they fell 6-1 to Pine City.

With the losses, the Saints open the season with an 0-4 record as the team, with only three returning varsity starters, looks to build continuity.

Senior Luke Gilbertson went a perfect 2-0 on the day with wins of 2-0 (6-3, 6-1) and 2-0 (7-5, 6-3).

St. Peter returns to action Wednesday, April 10, when the team will host a triangular with Waconia and New Prague at Gustavus Adolphus College.
