SAINT JO ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Saturday night is expected to be a big one for Saint Jo, thanks to the 19th annual Bullfest.

This is the second year the Bullfest will be held at the Saint Jo Riding Club arena.

Tilt Studios now open in Sikes Senter Mall

When the event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday night, fans can expect fun for all ages, especially since the night starts with mutton busting.

When the clock hits 8 p.m., though, it’s game on according to Stock Contractor Jonny Locke.

“We’ve got world-class bull riders and world-class bucking bulls, so it’ll be a great show,” Locke said. “And we’ll have a calf scramble in the middle; then we’ll have a lady’s steer scramble.”

Even though the Bullfest ends at 10 p.m., the party doesn’t stop. Afterward, there will be a free dance for the community.

Adult tickets are $10 if you buy in advance; they are $15 at the gate.

Children aged five and under get in free. In addition to all the festivities in the arena, concession proceeds will go toward the Saint Jo Cheerleading team and the Saint Jo Riding Club.
