LSU basketball picks up transfer portal commitment from ex-Richmond guard Dji Bailey
LSU basketball picked up another transfer on Wednesday, as the Tigers secured a commitment from former Richmond guard Dji Bailey. Bailey, a redshirt senior, played four seasons with the Spiders from 2020-24. His best season came this winter, when he averaged career highs in points, rebounds, assists, and steals. His 59.4% shooting percentage last season ranked in the top 10 for single-season percentage in program history and led the Atlantic 10 Conference. For his efforts, Bailey was named the A-10's Most Improved Player.

LSU adds transfer guard Dji Bailey to 2024-25 roster
LSU has been steadily bringing in wing transfer talent over the last few weeks and on Wednesday the purple and gold landed a commitment from Dji Bailey. A fifth-year player, this will be Bailey's last year of eligibility after playing four seasons for Richmond. Mainly a rotational player his first three years in the program, Bailey burst onto the scene as a senior in 2023-24, averaging 10.2 points per game and 1.7 steals per contest in over 31 minutes.
