Italian-American Club Preparing For Annual Spaghetti Dinner
DULUTH, Minn. — Preparations are taking place for an annual dinner focused on supporting a great cause. The Italian-American Club in Duluth is hosting their spaghetti and meatball dinner on Wednesday. Being prepared is about 2,700 meatballs and 48 gallons of sauce. For years the club has hosted the dinner to help raise money for scholarships. Along with the delicious dinner, there will be a raffle with cash prizes.

SUPERIOR, Wisc. — One dog’s love for catching a frisbee has inspired a Disc Dog Seminar, which will take place this weekend in Superior. Lupine is a 5-year-old border collie. Her owner, Eve Graves, said Lupine has loved playing catch since they met. Lupine’s boundless energy inspired Graves to look for more structured opportunities for Lupine to hone her skills. She found none in the Twin Ports area. So, she created one.
Italian American Club Of Duluth Hosts Annual Spaghetti Dinner
DULUTH, Minn. — The Italian American Club of Duluth hosted their annual spaghetti dinner Wednesday. The $10 meal consists of spaghetti, meatballs, a breadstick, salad, and coffee, juice or water to drink. There is even a special on wine. The club served 900 meals last year. They hope to beat that number this year so they can hand out at least three scholarships. To make the traditional spaghetti and meatballs they used 400 pounds of meat and around 140 pounds of pasta. The event is hosted at the American Legion Post 71. A member says the club has made such a difference in his life.
