(FOX40.COM) — Sunday night saw the Sacramento Police Department scramble to respond to multiple sideshows across the city, according to the police department.

Officers responded to sideshows at the 1400 block of Meadowview Road, 5th and X streets, Norwood and Bell Avenues and Northgate Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue.

Some of these sideshows featured up to 200 vehicles and officers waited until it was safe to begin enforcement actions, according to police.

Several drivers received citations, arrests were made and vehicles were towed.

At least two drivers attempted to flee from police resulting in pursuits. One was cancelled by pursuing officers due to the “suspect’s driving conditions” and the second ended in arrest.

No injuries were reported from any of the sideshows that police responded to.
