According to new permits filed with the City of Sacramento, a new business called Intuition Coffee & Wine will take over the vacant space inside The Press at 1728 21st St .

The application requests to convert the vacant Suite 3 from a mercantile to a 2,632-square-foot restaurant. The renovations will include new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, and fire protection. The space is located inside The Press at Midtown Quarters , an apartment complex with commercial spaces on the first floor. The other food tenant inside the building is Journey to the Dumpling , which opened last December.

The application indicates that Kao Saechao is the business owner . John Kristedja of JK Architect creates the interior design, and construction is led by the multi-location general contracting firm TI Builders , which has a local office in Sacramento. What Now Sacramento reached out to Kao for comments but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.

Operated by Folsom-based FPI Management , The Press at Midtown Quarters currently has studio, one-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments for lease. The apartment complex features various community amenities including a game room, a pool, a pet spa, a 24/7 lounge, and more.
