A fatal shooting on Gross Road has Mesquite police on the hunt for answers. The incident, which occurred late on April 27, claimed the life of 36-year-old Christopher Sye. Officers were called to the 900 block of Gross Rd. around 11:11 p.m. following reports of gunfire, upon arrival, they found Sye with a gunshot wound.
