Art Crawl offers a look inside Beaumont’s creative community

On any given day, Beaumont is home to artists working to bring beauty and creativity to the world. Most of the time, they toil away far from unsuspecting eyes. But the public will soon get a chance to visit a variety of venues as a group of creators open their doors. The second annual Downtown Beaumont Art Crawl is set for 2-6 p.m. Nov. 7. Pug Johnson – From A Beaumont Bar

There comes a point in most of our lives, definitely beyond our twenties, when something causes us to take stock of life-to-date. For some of us, past failures are the motivation to do better. For others, those failures are just an omen of things to come. For the remainder, hindsight is just an observation of lessons learned, sometimes on repeat. Beaumont native Pug Johnson seems to have followed that third arc on his newest album, From A Beaumont Bar, that could have been subtitled As Seen From A Barstool.
