One of my favorite places for a sandwich with plenty of substance, made with fresh-baked bread and high-quality ingredients, is Doc's Sandwich Shop and Deli in Shreveport. Doc's opened in 2021 as a sister company to Lowder Baking Company next door, both owned by Sarah and Preston Lowder.
