BROKEN BOW, Okla. (KXII) - A Broken Bow man is headed to federal prison after pleading guilty to murder. According to The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Devon Battiest, 43, was sentenced to 14 years in prison for walking into a Broken Bow home in May 2023, armed with a firearm, then shooting and killing a guest at the home.
