    Motorcyclist enters guilty plea in chase case

    WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man from Adams County appeared in Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas on Tuesday and entered a guilty plea to an amended indictment.

    Court records show that David Parker, 28, of Rome, Ohio, pleaded guilty to attempted failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a fourth-degree felony.

    According to a report from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office , on October 20, 2023, Parker was arrested in West Farmington after a pursuit and manhunt. Deputies said Parker went approximately 120 miles an hour before he lost control near the intersection of Cory Hunt and Bristol Champion Townline roads and crashed into the front yard of a house.

    From there, reports said that he took off on foot before he was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and a K-9 Unit.

    Parker will be sentenced at a later date, after a presentencing investigation.
