(Fargo, ND) -- A woman was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash in Towner county yesterday morning. The crash happened on State Highway 66 about four miles east of Egeland when a car left the road, flipped several times and caught on fire. 31-year-old Brittney Beck of Cando was ejected during the crash and died at the scene. The driver, 20-year-old Jace Thomas of Cando, was hurt and is facing charges.

The Grand Forks Fire Department was called out Friday to extinguish a vehicle fire on I-29. Crews responded to the blaze north of the 32nd interchange shortly before 4:00 p.m. Traffic was backed up for several blocks as one north bound lane was blocked for emergency vehicles. — — —...
