2024 IHSBCA High School Baseball Week Four Rankings
(Council Bluffs, IA) – The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its week four baseball rankings for the 2024 baseball season. These rankings are determined by a rankings committee headed by IHSAA Assistant Director Andy Umthun and will be utilized by the IHSAA office for postseason assignments to determine state tournament seeding. Our local schools in Class 1A include Tri-Center at #7 and both Logan-Magnolia and Woodbine are listed as honorable mentions. In Class 2A, Underwood is at the #2 spot, Van Meter Ranks at #4, Des Moines Christian comes in at #5, and both Clarinda and Interstate-35 are listed as honorable mentions. For Class 3A teams, Harlan Community moves up in the rankings at #7. You can find all the rankings below.

Ames High AP science classes struggle to teach students content appropriately
Last year, senior Ritika Tappeta walked into her AP Biology class excited for the year ahead. Instead, she was severely disappointed.
