With just 20 days remaining in our Annual Campaign, the Harrison Family YMCA is facing a critical juncture. We find ourselves $51,000 short of our goal, and the stakes have never been higher. Without your support, the fabric of our community is at risk of unraveling, leaving children without the joy of summer camp, families without the sense of belonging and neighbors without nourishment.

Beyond the superficial trappings of our facility — the gleaming equipment, the racquetball courts, the basketball goals and the pickleball equipment — lies the heart and soul of the Harrison Family YMCA. It’s a place where dreams are nurtured, bonds are forged and futures are shaped. But without the necessary funds, these dreams remain just out of reach.

Consider the child who dreams of endless summer days filled with laughter and adventure at YMCA camp. For many, this dream is only possible through the generosity of donors like you. Without your support, these children face the disappointment of missing out on a transformative experience that could shape their lives for years to come.

Imagine the family longing for a sense of belonging, a place to connect, grow, and thrive together. Your donation could provide them with the opportunity to become part of our YMCA family, where they can find support, encouragement, and a sense of community that extends far beyond our walls.

Think of the neighbor who struggles to put food on the table, to nourish their family and ensure their well-being. Your contribution could mean the difference between hunger and hope, between despair and dignity. With your support, we can continue to provide vital resources to those in need, ensuring that no one in our community goes hungry.

But time is running out, and we need your help to make these dreams a reality. Your donation isn’t just a financial contribution; it’s a lifeline for those who rely on the services and support we provide. Without you, the fabric of our community is at risk of tearing apart at the seams.

What if it was your child, eyes filled with longing, unable to experience the joy of summer camp? What if it was your family, yearning for a sense of belonging, but met only with empty spaces? And what if it was your neighbor, their stomachs growling in hunger, with no relief in sight? Your compassionate support can wipe away these tears, turning despair into hope, loneliness into belonging, and hunger into nourishment. Together, let’s rewrite these stories with love, generosity and a shared commitment to brighter tomorrows.

Time is of the essence, but hope remains alive as long as we stand together.
