Comeback kids: Rocklin rallies in sixth inning to beat Granite Bay
Rocklin second baseman Nick Coleman thought that he had cost his team the game Wednesday. With two outs in the top of the sixth inning, Granite Bay’s Chase Bentley hit a popup to Coleman that should have ended the frame and keep the score tied 0-0. Coleman struggled to get a read on the ball and wasn’t able to reel it in, allowing the Grizzlies to pull ahead 2-0. He recorded a putout to end the inning in the next at-bat, but the damage had been done.
All American Speedway Season Opener Postponed Due to Wet Weather
The scheduled 70th season opener for NASCAR weekly racing at All American Speedway powered by Roseville Toyota for this Saturday night has been postponed due to forecasted wet weather. The NASCAR Edge of Summer on June 1 will now serve as the season opener for the one-third mile located @the Grounds in Roseville. Additional race dates are to be determined to add to the 2024 racing season after a rainy start to the year.
