    Rockford man charged with possession of a firearm, manufacturing cocaine

    ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Davonte Williams, 26, for possession of a firearm and manufacturing cocaine among other charges.

    On April 30th, 8:39 a.m., police conducted a search warrant in the 200 block of 12th Street about an ongoing narcotics investigation by Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Unit.

    Authorities said they forcibly entered the house and put the residents all in the living room so they could complete the search.

    Officials recovered a handgun, cocaine, cannabis, Xanax, MDMA, alprazolam, a digital scale and money, according to court documents.

    Williams is being charged with felony possession of a firearm, manufacturing and delivery of cannabis, manufacturing and delivery of cocaine, manufacturing and delivery of meth and possession of schedule four drugs.
