Local artist selected for commissioned arts program at Michigan national park
WENATCHEE — Local artist Kasey Koski has been selected for an arts fellowship to create a sculpture for Keweenaw National Historic Park in Michigan. Koski has created a number of public art pieces in the valley, including the 11-foot tall yeti sculpture at Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort, which she says is her most difficult piece to date.
