The Wenatchee Valley Fire Department was called out about 12:30 this afternoon for a brush fire, burning around the east-side onramp to the George Sellar Bridge. And Union Hill Cider Co. tasting room just outside East Wenatchee was notified that its premises had officially been deemed unsafe for occupancy due to multiple violations of county code.
Community congregations unite for Service of Lament amid Palestine violence
EAST WENATCHEE - In response to the escalating violence and ongoing struggle in Palestine, Celebration Lutheran Church, in partnership with First United Methodist Church (FUMC) and Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will be hosting a Service of Lament on May 23rd at 6 pm. The service aims to provide a space for the community to grieve and process the horrific events unfolding in Gaza, the West Bank, and surrounding areas.
