    Puerto Rican Festival dates announced

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Puerto Rican Festival dates and location have been announced for the 54th celebration.

    The event is set to take place at Parcel 5 from Thursday, August 1 to Saturday, August 3, offering three days of fun festivities. There will be live music, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, cultural events, and more.

    Orlando Ortiz, the President of Puerto Rican Festival, Inc. said, “As the longest-standing ethnic festival in Monroe County, the Puerto Rican Festival board is deeply proud of the rich history and cultural significance this event holds within our community.” Ortiz added, ” Our aim is to celebrate and share our vibrant culture through immersive experiences in food, music, and dance.

    The Festivals hours will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from noon to 11 p.m., on Saturday. Organizers announced that Thursday will have free admission the whole day and Saturday will have free admission from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
