Parking locations for the 2024 Rochester Lilac Festival

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The 126th Rochester Lilac Festival is just weeks away — and many residents will be getting into their cars and heading to Highland Park!

Those who are driving down for the first time might not know where they can park, as parking on Goodman Street or side streets is not permitted. The organizers posted a parking guide for the festival.

The Lilac Festival will have three parking locations for guests. Only one of these parking lots has shuttle access to the festival grounds. Keep in mind that you will need to pay for parking if you are driving down to the festival.

The first lot is located diagonally across the street from 1111 Elmwood Avenue while the second lot can be found at 1065 Elmwood Avenue. The third lot, at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship on Sawgrass Drive, is available on weekends only. This offers a shuttle to the festival grounds.

On Mondays through Fridays, parking rates are $7 between 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and $10 after 2:30 p.m. On the weekend, the rate is $10 for all hours. Only cash is accepted.
