Teens arrested after stolen car chase, crash in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two teenagers were arrested after police chased a stolen car through Rochester Thursday evening, according to investigators.

Officers were called to Tacoma Street around 5:00 p.m. for reports of someone pointing a gun out of a car window. Police said the car, which had been reported stolen earlier in the day, sped away when officers tried to pull it over.

Police gave chase until the stolen car crashed into another car at the intersection of Lyell Avenue and Child Street. It stopped working a block later, where investigators said three people got out and ran.

Two suspects, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old, were arrested. The third got away.
