Man arrested, 2 injured, after chase ends in crash on Reynolds St.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man was arrested and two people were injured after a chase ended in a crash on Reynolds Street in Rochester.

Troopers said on Tuesday evening around 10:25 p.m., they tried to stop a Jeep due to a traffic violation before a chase ensured. The driver of the car, identified as 27-year-old Dwayne Campbell, struck an uninvolved car. Campbell allegedly tried to run away, but he was arrested.

The driver and occupant in the other car were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

Campbell was arrested and charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer, criminal possession of marijuana, obstruction of governmental administration, and traffic infractions. He was issued an appearance ticket.
