Overturned Semi Blocks Freeway Interchange Off-Ramp in Riverside, Driver injured

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Apr. 18 (KNN) — A semi truck overturned on a freeway interchange off-ramp in the city of Riverside late Wednesday night, injuring the driver.

Shortly after 11 p.m., the Riverside City Fire Department and California Highway Patrol received reports of an overturned semi truck in the area of the 60/91 Freeway interchange.

First arriving units found a semi rolled over on the ramp from the eastbound 91 onto the westbound 60 Freeway.

The driver had self-extricated upon arrival of fire and EMS units and was transported to a local ER with minor injuries.

CHP issued a Sigalert at 11:24 p.m., closing the off-ramp for approximately three hours.
