Leading 9-2 in the fifth, Rancho watched Inland score five runs to pull to within two, then put two runners in scoring position to start the ninth against Rancho closer Christian Ruebeck. Mayhem ensued, as both teams made some mistakes, with Inland making two outs on the bases to close it out. The Calgary Stampeders placed wide receiver Erik Brooks (Arm) on the six-game injured list on Thursday according to the CFL Transactions page. Erik Brooks is five foot seven and weighs 171 pounds. The 24-year-old from Corona, California, signed with the Calgary Stampeders on May 2, 2024. In 2024, Brooks made three catches for 53 yards, one touchdown, and 13 kick returns for 287 yards. Brooks injured his arm in Week 7 against the B.C. Lions. Before the injury, Brooks had five kickoff returns for 99 yards.
