Tenants at Billings apartment complex demand better conditions
BILLINGS, Mont. – Tenants at Rose Park Plaza have joined a national movement to urge their landlord to negotiate better living conditions. On Thursday, they gathered outside the complex, using an empty table to signify their readiness to engage in discussions with Capital Realty Group. The tenants' concerns focus on ongoing health and safety issues. Organizers highlighted that the company spent less than 9% of its $1.3 million rental revenue from the previous year on repairs, which tenants claim take months and are often only quick fixes.
