Love and Soul Family Festival is a non-profit organization that focuses on providing music education and other resources to people in our area.

Young Ridgeland author, illustrator publishes first book
Saadiq Stevens, now 12, recalled in preschool drawing on a whiteboard in his classroom and receiving a compliment on his work from the teacher. "The teacher came up to me, and instead of saying stop drawing, the teacher said, wow that's a really good picture," Stevens said. "This inspired me to want to draw and write books and I always drew little drawings for my mom and dad."
