Project with long-term, short-term, & workforce rentals planned for McCall
Residents in McCall could soon get more rental options. The McCall Planning and Zoning Commission will hear plans for a 46-unit townhome project during its May 7 meeting. CCG McCall’s application shows a plan for housing on six acres at 500 1st St., situated near existing multi-use pathways and multifamily housing.

Built in 1954, Cottonwood’s school gymnasium has an aging entryway and single-stall restrooms. An $855,000 upgrade is part of the district’s five- to 10-year plan. The McCall Public Library has closed to get ready for its big move. In 2021, a bond passed that allowed McCall to pursue a library expansion project. But visitors have been waiting for a library upgrade a lot longer than that — the old library was built in 1972.
