'It’s a Wonderful Life' Coming to the Lewisboro Library
LEWISBORO, N.Y. - On Friday, December 15 at 7 pm, the Lewisboro Library is hosting a production of “It’s a Wonderful Life” as a live radio play. The holiday classic, immortalized on film by James Stewart and Donna Reed, will be brought to life in a whole new way by Apple Tree Productions. The stage play is a one-hour adaptation by Joe Landry, written to replicate a live radio show circa 1946, with the cast gathered around microphones and live sound effects. Directed by Apple Tree founder Judy Allen, veteran cast members Chris Blossy, Elizabeth Breslin, Nancy Maloy, Joe Niola, Simon Skolnik, and Lew Zwick will be joined by newcomers Sam Bass, Isabella Bertram and Mae Rum. This production is suitable for all ages. In lieu of an admission fee, the Library requests that attendees bring an item to donate to their collection box for the Community Center of Northern Westchester’s “Share the Warmth” Drive. The Community Center is seeking donations of new hats, gloves, socks and warm cozy blankets for children ages infant through 18 years. Let’s rally our community like the residents of Bedford Falls rally around George Bailey! Anyone interested in attending can register by visiting https://lewisborolibrary.org.
After-Hours Delight: Danbury Welcomes a New Era in Nightlife
Danbury used to have a solid reputation for its nightlife. Over the years, the Hat City had places like Tuxedo Junction, Yesterday's, Boppers, 11 Ives, Mambos and Bluu. It was a place that had a ton of options for young people and now, not so much. There are a handful of bars/restaurants that do a great job of transforming their space for after-hours but certainly nothing that would be categorized as a club. What if you just want to drink and dance?

You Must Try The Top 10 Sushi Restaurants in Westchester County, NY
I just recently got back into eating sushi. While I was in college, I had a little bit of it. I would typically get a Philadelphia Roll whenever my roommates ordered from this place right near campus, but honestly, I never really expanded my pallet besides that. Recently; however, an old friend from high school got me hooked on sushi again, and I've been trying all sorts of different rolls. My go-to is a California Roll; however, I've been happy to try all different kinds lately.
